Armentha “Mike” Cruise, President and CEO, The Aspen Group Inc.

 

The Aspen Group is a staffing and work force management firm .   Armentha Cruise aspired to be an actress at a young age, but it was entrepreneurship that was in her blood.  Not only was her mother an entrepreneur but so are her two childen: daughter Enid, who owns a chiropractor business, and her son Wesley, who owns a marketing consulting business.  Cruise, has a bachelor’s in psychology from Morgan State University (’66) and a master’s in human resources from American University.

 

 

Lance London, Founder, President and CEO, Big City Foods, LLC

Lance London had thoughts of becoming a dentist but found comfort and success in the restaurant business.  He is the owner of Carolina Kitchen Restaurant with one facility in Hyattsville and another in Largo.   The restaurants are so popular that there are plans for expansion elsewhere.  Lance has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Morgan State University.

 

 

Morgan Graduate is Running for a United States Senate Office

Maryland State Senator C. Anthony Muse, a 1981 graduate of Morgan State University, is running for the United States Senate.  The Rev. Dr. C. Anthony Muse was elected to the Maryland State Senate in 2007 and before that served in the Maryland House of Delegates.  He is the Founder and Pastor of the Ark of Safety Christian Church in Upper Marlboro.
